Reneé Rapp just unveiled the first single off of her brand new album, Snow Angel. The single takes on the same name as the album.
“My album was done. I had all the songs. I even had the lead single picked out, too. I spent 4 months writing nearly every day. I spit out all my concepts, all my ballads, my fuck you’s and my I love you’s. We rented out studios in Jersey while I was filming Mean Girls and cried in damn near every studio in the valley. Fast forward to the 8th of May, probably 11pm. Alexander and I were supposed to be finishing vocals, but we decided to try a hail mary. [Her team] believed in the song as much as I did… that meant everything.” Renee said when she was asked why she picked the song Snow Angel as the album’s title and first single.
It’s a damn good song fr, and we’ve had Snow Angel on repeat since its release. We can’t wait for the release of the whole album! Adding the fact that she’s going on the Snow Hard Feelings tour to perform the tracks live is the perfect thing.
Be sure to save the date! On the 28th of September, 2023, Reneé Rapp is performing at the Arizona Financial Theatre, and it’s a show you definitely want to see.
