Hasta Que Se Nos Hizo Tour brings the incredible co-headlining shows of Lucero and Mijares! Both singers have established themselves as two of their country's most prolific performers. This 2023, they make their way to the U.S. to entertain their American fans. On Saturday 11th November 2023, Lucero and Mijares will light up the Arizona Financial Theatre with their biggest hits.
There is no question that Lucero is one of Mexico’s most prominent female singers. She emerged during the ‘80s as a child actress starring in beloved shows like Alegrias de Mediodia and Chispita. She scored notable lead roles in various telenovelas and won numerous accolades, including TVyNovesla Awards and Azteca de Oro Award. During the mid-'80s, she was cast in Fiebre de Amor, starting opposite popular actor Luis Miguel. Their performance in the film earned two Diosa de la Plata Awards.
In addition to acting, Lucero is also an accomplished singer. She often performed in the soundtrack of her telenovelas and films. During the ‘80s, she dropped six studio albums as Lucerito. In 1990, she dropped her former name and went as Lucero, releasing her first seventh album, Con Mi Sentimiento. She released over 20 more albums, many of which have earned multiplatinum status in Mexico and several other Spanish-speaking countries. Lucero has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and won numerous awards, including a Billboard Music Award, Lunas Del Auditorio Award, multiple TVyNovels Awards, Bravo Awards, and many more. Besides Spanish, Lucero can also sing in English and Portuguese, making her a highly-versatile performer.
The unprecedented contemporary pop singer Manuel Mijares, simply known as Mijares, has also made waves across the Spanish-speaking world. The singer rose to prominence during the ‘80s and ‘90s and has belted out numerous staples. In 1986, Mijares dropped his self-titled debut album, which spawned his international hit, “Bella,” as well as “Soñador,” “Siempre.” and “Al Caminar.” Mijares’ 38-year career has produced 25 critically acclaimed studio albums. Some of his more notable works include Amor y Rock and Roll, which spawned the breakout worldwide hit, “No Se Murio el amor.” In 1988 and 1989, he dropped Uno Entre Mil and Un Hombre Discreto, earning gold and platinum status in Mexico.
In 2000, Mijares was hired by DreamWorks to perform three Elton John Songs in Spanish for the film, The Road to El Roado. The decade was also filled with commercially successful albums like Vivir Asi, Hablemos de Amor, and Honor a Quien Honor Merce. In 2011, he released his 25th-anniversary compilation album, Mijares 25: Zona Preferente.
