Brit Floyd is a celebration of authenticity that has traveled a coherent, emotional journey through Pink Floyd’ catalog. Guitarist and singer Damian Darlington initiated the band in 2011 with the will to do it better than his previous band, The Australian Pink Floyd Show. The band has toured extensively in 2011 with guest musicians from Pink Floyd’s studio and touring band line-ups. In 2013, Pink Floyd bass player and vocalist Guy Pratt joined Brit Floyd on stage at Echo Arena Liverpool. In 2015, saxophonist and rhythm guitarist Scott Paged also joined the band at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Theater.
2016 also proved to be a massive year with a 76-date US tour featuring an extended career-spanning set list that includes Pink Floyd’s 24-minute epic “Echoes” and a million dollar stage design. Last year at the end of their tour, they announced their goodbye with their longtime management and their partnership with Palladium Entertainment.
This year 2023, Brit Floyd highlights Pink Floyd’s 1973 album, The Dark Side of the Moon to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Since its launch in Liverpool in January 2011, the band has performed over 1000 shows with sold out tours across Europe, North America, South America, and the Middle East. They have also performed concerts in the world’s greatest venues including London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall, the awe inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado, the historic Greek Theater in Los Angeles, and “The Showplace of the Nation”, NYC’s Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.
