Jeffery Jordan, Garrison Burgess, and Spencer Stewart comprise the Nashville pop-rock group The Band CAMINO. The band was founded in 2015 while they were students at the University of Michigan.
Since forming in college, the band has become a household name in the Alternative music scene by remaining faithful to their 80s rock-inspired style, which has gained many devoted followers. With the release of their single “Daphne Blue” in 2019, they entered the Spotify Viral US Top 50. The song gained a lot of attention, making it one of their most popular songs to date.
Fun fact: Taylor Swift included their song “Bernstein” in her “Songs Taylor Loves” playlist on Spotify, bringing the band a lot of attention from the playlist’s 200,000 followers. If the queen of country/pop, Taylor Swift, loves them, then we’re sure everyone else will too!
This year, The Band CAMINO is releasing their highly-anticipated sophomore album. They just announced that the album’s title is The Dark, followed up by a North American Tour, Screaming in the Dark. They’ve released three singles of the album, including “Told You So,” “What Am I Missing?,” and “Last Man in the World.” The rest of the album is set to be released on the 11th of August.
The Band CAMINO once said in an interview that what excites them the most is when they come back to cities, and there are more fans each time! “There’s not one thing, specifically. It’s more just looking back over the growth we’ve made as a band. Sure, there are some shows that stick out, but the coolest part is going back to cities, and we have more fans, more fans that sing the words back to us, things like that,” they said.
